Whielki Krasnal in the cooperation with Kazimir Malevich.
"BLACK SQUARE OF OUR TIMES / Reconstruction of Black Square after 100 years / Tribute to Kazimir Malevich - reconstructor of orthodox icons" - 2015. Acrylic on canvas, 50 x 50 cm.

In 1915 Malevich hang his Black Square in a symbolic red corner, where people used to put icons in their homes. He called his painting THE ICON OF HIS TIMES.
After 100 years, Whielki Krasnal reconstructs this masterpiece and paints THE BLACK SQUARE OF OUR TIMES.

"The x-ray analysis also uncovered a handwritten note by the artist on the painting's white border which is still being deciphered. However, according to AFP, preliminary investigations have revealed that the text says “Negroes battling in a cave." :
